Happy Birthday to You, Happy Birthday to You, Happy Birthday Dear Lily, Happy Birthday to You!
We celebrated Lily's 1st birthday yesterday. I cannot believe it has already been a year! She has accomplished so much already - crawling, cruising along furniture, eating "real" food, saying "ma-ma, da-da, uh-oh", and a bunch of other babble! I think she will follow right in Emmalee and Micah's footsteps and be a chatterbox!
We didn't do much for her birthday - we've never been big 1st birthday celebraters. We gave her her birthday gift when she got up in the morning, a fun Little Tykes Learning Steps Activity Gym - she can walk through it, crawl through it, it plays music - she loves it! Last night Dad came over after work for dinner and cupcakes. She LOVED her cake, and wore it well!
All in all, it was a nice day! Happy Birthday Baby!
