Random Stuff

I hope you all had a nice 4th of July! Steve took all 3 kids up to VT to his parent's house for the weekend! I stayed home because I had to work at the restaurant. So I thought I would have a nice relaxing weekend. Not really. Sure, I slept in and didn't have 3 little voices calling for me to do this or that, and I enjoyed a manicure and a pedicure. But you mothers out there know that, as long as you are in the house, there is always something you feel that you should be doing. So the laundry was done, and the bathrooms cleaned and the floors washed. And then,of course,I had to work every night, so it wasn't really relaxing. Relaxing would be if I went away for a weekend and didn't have to do anything (oh boy do I hope Steve is reading this...)! Not that I'm complaining. Really.
So today we have a full house. Jim and Pat and Mom-mom (Steve's grandmother) and Pete and Bryson and Riley (and we must not forget Precious, the dog) are here. They followed Steve back last night because Bryson has a golf tournament tomorrow in MA. Bryson's been playing real well in this summer's tour - you should see this kid golf (he's 7). Phenomenal!
Micah and Riley were just out riding bikes in the garage. Micah got off his bike and told me had to go to the bathroom. So we're walking into the house and he says to me "You know, I'm allergic to underpants!" That kid says some of the funniest things. Where did that come from? Who knows - but he insisted the whole way into the house that he indeed is allergic to underpants. Sure, Micah, whatever you say!
