Lily's Great Day

Lily has had a great day today! So good, I just had to share it. She started by sleeping through the night - 12 hours! Of course, I woke up and had to check on her to be sure she was still breathing. I hope it wasn't a flukey thing and that she does that again tonight! Probably due to the fact that she was so well-rested, she spent the morning happy as can be. She has been full of smiles and laughter, had a good breakfast of oatmeal, pears & blueberries, played in her exersaucer in the family room with Micah (at one point I looked in on them and he was holding a nerf football in his hand and told me he was playing football with Lily), and then took a wonderful 2 hour nap! She just finished her lunch and ate her first Cheerios! She has just started her pincer grip and loves to pick little things up and put them in her mouth! Which is why the micro racer cars and polly pocket pieces will need to stay downstairs in the playroom! Now she is playing on the floor next to me, and yelling happily at me. Since I am working tonight, I hope for Steve's sake that she has as good an evening as she has a day!
